Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces and emerging opportunities through 2030
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into tangible R&D priorities and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to expand foresight capabilities
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and socio-cultural shifts to assess strategic implications
- Champion a culture of innovation and future-focused thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market applications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field required
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies
- Experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of global megatrends and their industry-specific impacts
- Strong presentation skills with experience delivering to C-suite audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresourcing preferred
