Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and market disruptors with 3-5 year impact
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and innovation roadmaps
- Partner with R&D and product teams to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to cultivate organizational foresight capabilities and future literacy
- Produce executive-ready reports and presentations communicating complex futures to non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities
- Advose leadership on emerging risks and opportunities related to climate, AI governance, and workforce evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused corporate strategy
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience designing and implementing innovation frameworks within large organizations
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
