Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market disruptions
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for executive leadership on biotech, AI governance, and climate resilience
- Design immersive foresight workshops for clients using VR/AR future simulation environments
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
- Translate complex future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment theses
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and systems thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Published work on emerging tech trends (white papers, journals, or industry reports)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and causal layered analysis
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech ecosystems
- Experience with AI-powered trend analysis tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
