Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate market shifts and competitive threats
- Present futuristic insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into development pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and innovation management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario development frameworks
- Demonstrated success translating futuristic insights into commercialized products/services
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC, CFP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
