Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend forecasting for 2026+ tech ecosystems
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, biotech, climate AI)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with market disruption timelines
- Design and launch experimental R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Author thought leadership reports read by Fortune 500 executives
- Manage cross-functional labs in SF, Boston, and Singapore
- Present 2026 innovation scenarios at global tech summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching tech products with 3+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in MIT Tech Review or similar tier
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
