Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify and prioritize disruptive technologies, social shifts, and market opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise clients navigating rapid digital transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into compelling future narratives
- Author forward-looking thought leadership reports and whitepapers published in industry journals
- Adv executive teams on emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech sectors
- Design and prototype innovation roadmaps for clients entering future markets
- Mentor junior strategists in future methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic consulting, innovation management, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing influential future-focused research or thought leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for complex future concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic projects with 5+ year impact horizons
