Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks by analyzing emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and global megatrends
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify opportunities and risks within 3-5 year horizons
- Design and execute innovation pipelines aligned with long-term organizational objectives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven insights and compelling narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future visions into product roadmaps
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry conferences, and media engagements
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business strategies
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
