Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for enterprise clients using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Produce trend reports on exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) with actionable recommendations
- Design innovation workshops that cross-pollinate industries (healthcare + blockchain + robotics)
- Lead cross-functional teams prototyping future-state business models and digital twins
- Present strategic briefings to executive boards on disruptive market shifts
- Curate partnerships with academic labs (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University) and venture studios
- Author thought leadership pieces for publications like TechCrunch and Harvard Business Review
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) with published research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems (Y Combinator, venture capital, DARPA)
- Fluency in futures methodologies: Delphi analysis, causal layered analysis, and weak signal detection
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience delivering keynotes at global tech forums
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-oriented projects implemented at scale
