Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for long-term business planning
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Create scenario-planning models for climate resilience, AI governance, and ethical tech deployment
- Deliver executive briefings on future-proofing operations and risk mitigation strategies
- Establish cross-functional futurist councils to embed foresight into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist analysis
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or industry disruption scenarios
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and climate risk modeling
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar)
