Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map technological megatrends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain Horizon Labs' 5-year technology foresight framework with quarterly refresh cycles
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing adoption, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at industry forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor senior leadership on technological disruption vectors and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technological disruptions (e.g., blockchain, generative AI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio of published foresight work or patented innovations
