- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product blueprints
- Establish KPIs for emerging tech adoption and innovation pipeline efficiency
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify first-mover advantages
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends beyond 5-year horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Prior experience scaling tech initiatives in high-growth environments
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation
