Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to validate and prototype futuristic concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential acquisition/partnership
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global research networks and academic collaborations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Published author or keynote speaker on technology futures
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- PhD or equivalent research experience preferred
