Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and ensure medication compliance.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands as assigned.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA, CMA, or HHA certification is a plus but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic nature.
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients up to 50 lbs.
