Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries, implants, and cosmetic treatments
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT) and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Oversee infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient education on post-op care and treatment plans
- Maintain sterilization workflow and inventory management
- Serve as clinical liaison between patients and specialist providers
- Train on new technologies including CAD/CAM and digital impression systems
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 3 years experience in general/specialty dentistry
- Expertise in radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
