Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, treatments, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Perform and process digital dental X-rays (intraoral and extraoral) in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Manage patient records, update charts accurately, and assist with scheduling appointments.
Qualifications
- Valid RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in the State of Nevada.
- CPR and BLS Certification (American Heart Association) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a general dentistry practice.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- Proficiency with dental software systems (e.g., Dexis, Eaglesoft, or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
