Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including chairside assistance and material selection.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiographs) and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate dental charts.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice setting.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and digital imaging.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
