Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital technology.
- Manage patient records accurately, including updating charts and processing insurance claims.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DA (Dental Assistant) license in California.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
