Responsibilities
- Perform 4-handed dentistry and chair-side assisting during a variety of procedures.
- Manage infection control protocols, including sterilization and disinfection of instruments and treatment rooms.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and processing insurance claims.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant with active license in Pennsylvania.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment.
- Attention to detail and adherence to strict sterilization and safety guidelines.
