Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures with precision and efficiency
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement strict sterilization protocols (OSHA-compliant)
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize chairside efficiency
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Deliver patient education on post-treatment care
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent credential
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- X-ray certification (Texas State Board)
- BLS/CPR certification required
