Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and implant placements
- Perform advanced infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Manage digital radiography and CBCT imaging systems
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency during high-volume days
- Train new staff on practice protocols and technologies
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB required
- Minimum 3 years of chairside experience in a busy practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current)
- Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental implants and orthodontic procedures preferred
