Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital radiography
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Assist with infection control protocols (OSHA compliance)
- Take impressions and pour dental models
- Provide post-procedure care instructions
- Order inventory and manage supply levels
Qualifications
- Current Texas RDA or Dental Assistant certification
- 1+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and sterilization
- CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Flexible availability including occasional weekends
