Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Implement strict infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Oversee sterilization processes and maintain clinical inventory systems
- Train new assistants on advanced dental technologies and protocols
- Coordinate patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Contribute to practice efficiency through optimized scheduling and workflow
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant license (DALEF or DA II) required
- Minimum 3 years of chairside experience in specialty practice
- Advanced certification in radiography and coronal polishing
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging systems
- CPR/BLS certification maintained
- Exceptional communication skills and chairside manner
- Track record of reducing no-show rates by 15%+
- Experience with digital impression scanners (iTero, Trios)
