Responsibilities
- Perform accurate blood draws and specimen collection using venipuncture and capillary techniques
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and processing of laboratory specimens
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy and professionalism
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient workflow

Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- BLS/CPR certification from a recognized provider
- Proven ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems and laboratory software
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 15-25 lbs
