- Process and submit medical claims to insurance payers with 98% accuracy
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service rendering
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies through effective communication
- Maintain accurate patient accounts and documentation in EHR systems
- Conduct regular audits to identify revenue leakage opportunities
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure charge capture completeness
- Stay updated on CMS, HIPAA, and insurance policy changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR/billing software
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work between 20-30 hours weekly with adjustable schedule
