Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care in ICU/ER/Trauma units with patient ratios of 1:2-1:3
- Implement evidence-based clinical protocols for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific safety standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Precept new staff and orient travelers to unit workflows
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/ER/Trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree strongly preferred
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
