Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols and physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and JCAHO standards
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and facility-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state (license assistance provided)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in rotating schedules
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and health screenings
