Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings including ICU, ER, and MedSurg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Monitor and respond to patient changes in condition with critical thinking skills
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and nursing standards
- Participate in shift handovers with clear communication and documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana or compact state
- 1+ years of recent clinical experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (additional certifications may be needed per unit)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings
- Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation
