Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and treatments using proper infection control
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately
- Manage sterilization and inventory of dental instruments and supplies
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Maintain precise dental records and digital charting
- Coordinate patient scheduling and front desk support
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid North Carolina dental radiography permit
