Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units under preceptor guidance
- Assess patient conditions and document findings in electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Graduation within the last 12 months OR less than 1 year of clinical experience
- Completion of nursing fundamentals and clinical rotations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to new healthcare environments quickly
- Valid US passport and willingness to travel within Wisconsin
