Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and thoroughly within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and discharge planning.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana (or compact license).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience (Critical Care, Med-Surg, or Telemetry preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS certifications.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
