Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases using ESI protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop effective treatment plans
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth platforms
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Lead quality improvement initiatives for triage processes
- Mentor junior nursing staff during high-volume shifts
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree strongly preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred
