Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop timely treatment plans
- Provide expert telephone triage for remote patients
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with critical patient data
- Coordinate care transitions between departments and facilities
- Delicate patient education on symptoms and next steps
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- 3+ years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong communication abilities in high-pressure situations
- BSN or higher degree preferred
