Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Medication Monitoring: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and report any side effects or missed doses to supervisors.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and assist clients during mealtimes.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to reduce isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, or recreational activities as needed.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record basic vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse when required.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or CNA is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- License: Valid Driverβs License and current auto insurance are mandatory.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attitude: A genuine, patient, and compassionate demeanor towards the elderly and disabled.
