Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure they are taking their prescriptions as directed.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and provide emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Nutrition & Meal Prep: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the client's dietary needs and preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and community events.
- Documentation: Accurately document daily activities and changes in client condition in care logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a current, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and a patient, kind demeanor.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
