Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and prescription orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing drugs and providing basic patient counseling.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and process incoming pharmaceutical supplies.
- Operate pharmacy automation systems and point-of-sale terminals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Handle cash transactions and process insurance claims accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
- Current, valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
