Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure a high quality of life.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Medication reminders and monitoring for side effects.
- Transportation to medical appointments and social outings.
- Document care plans and update families on client status.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and patience.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not always required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
