Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client condition to RN supervisor
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain safe home environment
- Administer prescribed medications under RN guidance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Home Health Aide or CNA
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Texas HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Compassionate demeanor and patience with elderly clients
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Clear background check and drug screen
