Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport patients to medical appointments and social outings
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe home environment
- Document patient progress and report concerns to care coordinators
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current Georgia CNA certification preferred
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear criminal background check and TB test results
- Strong communication skills and empathy-driven approach
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
