Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with proper hydration and dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to clinical staff
- Perform light housekeeping duties and ensure safe, clean living environments
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Assist with medication reminders and prescribed care routines
- Maintain accurate care documentation and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana Home Health Aide certification or CNA license required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity to diverse populations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks
- Reliable transportation and punctuality essential
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification preferred
