Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication reminders as per care plan
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current Texas HHA certification or CNA license
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Clear background check and drug screen
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
