Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed and report any missed doses or adverse reactions to the nursing supervisor.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and conversation to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
  • Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks related to patient care, such as laundry, meal preparation, and changing bed linens.
  • Monitoring: Observe client behavior and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the care team.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current and active Texas State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license.
  • Driving: Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation with current auto insurance.

  • Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
