Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in a patient's condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility using walkers or wheelchairs as needed.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient care records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Georgia Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR certification is a plus.
