Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Vitals: Conduct regular assessments of patient health status, including vital signs, pain levels, and physical condition.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with hospital standards.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure cohesive patient care plans.
- Crisis Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in triage procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Nursing Degree: Must possess a current ASN, BSN, or equivalent nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active Louisiana RN license required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Strong bedside manner and genuine desire to help patients.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic health records (EHR).
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
