Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any side effects or missed doses to the nursing staff.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, read aloud, and provide emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
