Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patient health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in acute care or medical-surgical units.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
