Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes, symptoms, or concerns to the RN Case Manager immediately.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as needed to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or grocery shopping.
- Administer medication as directed and supervised by a nurse, ensuring all logs are accurately documented.
- Encourage social interaction and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Perform vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration) when requested.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Current and valid Missouri CNA license or Home Health Aide certification.
- Current Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
