As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care to clients in the comfort of their own homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in client behavior, health status, and medication compliance to the RN or Case Manager.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for client transport if required).
