Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs as specified
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Administer prescribed medications under proper supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional home health or caregiving experience
- Current Tennessee Home Health Aide certification
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass thorough background and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled clients
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing
- Reliable transportation to client locations
