Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications for dispensing.
- Verify physician orders and ensure accuracy of dosages and drug interactions.
- Assist customers with prescription inquiries and insurance processing.
- Manage inventory levels and order pharmaceutical supplies.
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as blood pressure monitoring and immunizations (where applicable).
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification.
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
