Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing to ensure patient hygiene and comfort.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or symptoms to the supervising nurse or case manager.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or community outings as needed.
- Administer medications and remind patients to take prescribed doses according to care plans.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the patient's overall well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor when interacting with patients and families.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
